Purchasing Power Fuels Clean-Up Efforts in the Gulf

ORLANDO, Fla.--July 13, 2010 Thanks to a partnership between Organic Bouquet, the nation’s leading supplier of earth-friendly flowers and gifts, and three not-for-profit organizations: The Nature Conservancy, National Wildlife Federation and Ocean Conservancy, consumers are now empowered to make a considerable contribution to cleaning up the oil that continues to threaten the Gulf.  With each online purchase of flowers and gifts from the Gulf Relief Collection, Organic Bouquet will donate $10 to their philanthropic partners to aid in their efforts to provide environmental relief.  “We decided to form a partnership and unite forces in hopes of generating a movement among consumers to use their purchasing power to make a difference in the Gulf.  Our Gulf Relief Collection gives everyone, even people who live thousands of miles away from the Gulf, the opportunity to help make a difference,” explains Robert McLaughlin, CEO of Organic Bouquet.
